"Train the Brain"...The Toronto Institute/Integration for Dental Excellence Inc.
(TIDE) was developed in 2002 to provide quality continuing dental education and to
elevate the care in dentistry to serve our patients and promote professional growth.
TIDE courses are AGD approved and RCDSO approved for Category 2 and 3.
In 2012, TIDE meetings will primarily be held at Nobel Biocare's state-of-the-art
training centre located at Hwy 7 and Leslie, Richmond Hill. This facility is
specifically designed to host hands-on courses such as TIDE's. Some courses,
however, will be run at the Columbus Room in the Columbus Centre which is
centrally located (Dufferin and Lawrence, Toronto). In addition to being easily
accessible by all major routes, the Columbus Centres' Villa Charities, has a long
standing history of community outreach which TIDE is happy to be part of.
TIDE is a multidisciplinary and multi-levelled continuing education provider.
Participants have the opportunity to attend complimentary evening didactic courses
that comprise the Wave I: Dr. Lin's Complimentary Specialist Lecture Series
Program, 3-day hands on courses that comprise the
Wave II: 2012 Cadaver Series and 2012 TIDE Hands-On Program and the
5-weekend Wave III: Academy of Integrative Implant Dentistry (A.I.I.D.) implant
placement program. The concept of the 3 waves (or tiers of learning), as well as
the multidisciplinary aspect of our courses, was developed to offer every dentist an
opportunity to enjoy our exceptional courses. There is something for everybody at
TIDE regardless of time and budget constraints, experience (there are no
pre-requisites for any of our courses) and area of interest.
For 2012, TIDE has a vision to elevate its status as a dental learning provider as
well as bring the TIDE name to the forefront of dentistry across Ontario and Canada.
